Really enjoyed the standard king room I was given, it had central heating, coffee/tea making equipment, and a work desk. I could see garden. Beautiful and particularly good location right next to a new retail shopping outlet made it easy to get to key attractions...

I recently stayed at a hotel in Lelystad for a few nights. My main purpose was to visit Batavia Stad and Museum, which were just a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. The room at Huis Van Steen was clean and functional, with a nice garden view. What stood out was the warm welcome I received from the owner, Fari. The breakfast room had a unique and lovely decoration, featuring artifacts and pictures from Zimbabwe. The owner was not only welcoming but also very knowledgeable and provided helpful advice throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.
Would recommend this hotel.

The location of this unique hotel is ideal for those wanting to be close to the beach, as it is just a short drive away. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden which is partially enclosed by a small moat, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The service provided by the owner is outstanding, ensuring a pleasant stay from start to finish. The breakfast, served directly to your room, is delicious and satisfying.
The room we were assigned had a small bathroom, which was a slight inconvenience.

The owner was a welcoming and knowledgeable hostess, providing helpful tips and advice. The cleanliness of the place was exceptional and the views were beautiful.
The parking situation was a bit ad-hoc, with limited space near the road. Noise from the staff and guests in the kitchen/dining room early in the morning was disruptive to our sleep.

The host was super cool and made us feel at home. The room had a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a DVD player, so we had epic movie nights. Plus, there was a child-free policy, so we could fully enjoy our party time without any interruptions.
The only thing that could've been better was if there was a game room or a pool table. It would've been the ultimate hangout spot for us young party animals.
